NEC CDR In addition to the legacy support of receiving CDR over a serial connection, NEC CDR is downloaded according to NEC’s protocols and specifications via NEC’s Proprietary Billing Information Transfer Protocol over TCP/IP. This particularly useful when the implementation includes remote location devices and SV7000 and SV8000 series devices where a dedicated serial interface may not be an option.
