NEC SMDR In addition to the legacy support of receiving SMDR over a serial connection, SMDR is configured to integrate in accordance to NEC’s protocols and specifications via TCP/IP. The CCIS feature that can route SMDR from multiple, similar models to a single device for output is recommended. This is particularly useful when the implementation includes remote location devices and SV8X00 and SV9X00 series devices where a dedicated serial interface may not be an option.
