Prophet H
General Programming Reference
All programming on the Prophet-H Call Accounting
System must be done at the SYSTEM port connection with a terminal,
PC or MODEM link (enable CAPS LOCK).
If using a modem, you can force access at 1200
baud by sending the following commands to your modem using a terminal
program:
ATE1Q0V1 to ensure echo is ON, quiet
mode is OFF and verbose is ON. You may have to type this in the
blind but the modem should respond with OK after you press <ENTER>. Now
type AT&N2 and press <ENTER> to set the modem to 1200 baud. The modem should again respond with OK. This command works on U.S. Robotics
modems, check your modem manual for other modem types. Type ATDT a,npanxxxxxx where a is the access code for an outside line and npanxxxxxx is the dialed number.
The touchpad is used for reporting ONLY.
Programming cannot be done while in PMS mode.
While in PMS mode, ONLY a main menu will be displayed, or NO menu
will be displayed if calls are waiting to be posted to the PMS.
If necessary, disable PMS mode to make program entries. Be sure
to re-enable PMS mode when done (<ESC> 8 1).

A menu will print.

PBX CALL RECORD DIAGNOSTICS
See Thru Mode verifies that the calls being sent
by the PBX (see SMDR LED on Prophet-H front panel) are at the proper
baud rate and protocol (i.e. 8,N,1) to be recognized. If garbled
text is received, check the SMDR Baud rate from the System Data
Menu. A change in the SMDR Baud Rate requires an <ESC>8 1 to reset the system.
To turn on see-thru diagnostics <ESC>R
1 080 0.01.
Accepted, Rejected and Dropped diagnostics verifies
that the PBX format is translating the SMDR correctly and storing
the data into the proper locations in the reconstruction buffer.
To turn on accepted, rejected and dropped diagnostics
<ESC> R 1 080 0.00 081 0.01 082 0.01 083 0.01.
Note that See-thru mode must be off (0.00) for accepted, rejected
and dropped diagnostics to work.
<ESC>8 1or setting the locations
back to 0.00 will turn the diagnostics off.

Stored Calls are available for printout on
the nightly audit report and for print "On Demand" from
a touchpad when a PMS is not used (EVEN numbered options). If
Admin calls are stored, the nightly audit report should be turned
on to report and clear these calls from memory on a daily basis.
Not Stored Calls
1. No PMS - are printed "On the Fly"
to the printer.
2. With PMS (ODD numbered options) - Only
admin calls will be printed on the fly to the backup printer on
the SMDR port. If location 087 in Rate table 1 is set to a value
of 0.01, admin calls will be posted immediately to the PMS and
NOT printed "On the Fly".
The Nightly Audit report is a selection
of the System Data Menu off the Menu Main.
A description of operational programming and pricing
parameters can be found in the Prophet H Installation and Operation
Manual, especially Section 3 and Appendix H.
AFTER PROGRAMMING THE INITIAL PARAMETERS AND DATA
OPTION, COLD RESET THE PROPHET H WITH <ESC>9 1.
WARNING:
A COLD RESET WILL CLEAR CALL RECORDS, PLEASE PRINT REPORTS FIRST.
